“This evening,” Amberith said softly, her voice like gentle dawn, “we celebrate kindness, bravery, and the harmony that connects us all together.”

The creatures bowed — fox, rabbit, owl, and fairy alike — their eyes shining.

Amberith lifted her hands, and the flames before her rose in a swirl of shimmering animated shapes.

She began her stories — tales of the Glen’s earliest days, when magic was young and the trees first whispered secrets to the wind. The fire formed dancing images that twirled above the crowd: tiny ancient fairies, glowing rivers, brave woodland creatures, and hidden wonders of the forest. Willow watched with sparkling eyes as each story came alive before her.

When Amberith finished, the Glen erupted into soft applause, wings fluttering, paws tapping, and feathers rustling in delight.

Then Rubisca Dawnfire stepped forward, her ruby red wings glowing like embers.

“Now,” she chimed with a playful grin, “let us fill the night with song!”

She began to hum, her voice lilting and bright, like sunlight skipping across a stream. Ruby sparks drifted from her wings as she sang, swirling around the creatures in dazzling spirals. Fairies joined her quickly, their tiny bell-like voices blending in a perfect melody.

Before long, the whole arena burst into dance.
